Crafts - Pattern To Make Pine Cone Bird Feeder

 
Pine Cone Bird Feeder

You will need:
String
One Pinecone
1/2 Cup Vegetable shortening or lard 
2 1/2 Cups of Corn meal or Oats
Bird seed
antivirus software specials

Instructions:
Food mixture: Mix 2 1/2 cups cornmeal or oats with the 1/2 cup Vegetable shortening or lard. If you have any of these you could also add them:  chopped nuts or seeds like sunflowers or others. 

Cover your pinecone with the food mixture and then roll it in the birdseed. You will need to tie a few feet of string to the pine cone, then you are ready to hang it outside.
